Travel For Teens offers, quite simply, the trips of a lifetime. We are the ONLY teen travel program which bridges the gap between classroom learning and touristic teen tours, offering the best features of each. We offer balance, providing the freedom teens crave with the security parents require, the fun teens seek with the substance parents demand. Our highest emphasis, however, is on safety and security. |

Further, we feature doing, experiencing and understanding rather than merely seeing. We feel that non-judgmental immersion in other cultures is not only valuable and enriching, but fun. Travel For Teens features coed summer travel for teens ages 13-18. Each age group will have peers with whom to spend time. Our summers are designed in modules so that families can select the combination of trips, or the single trip, that is most appealing to each participant. Two of our philosophical hallmarks are choice and flexibility, so that every participant can design the trip of a lifetime for him or herself, while still traveling with a peer group. Our travelers emerge as International citizens, not tourists. |

Patricia Maloney, President, is a master’s level Occupational Therapist with a business background. She has cumulatively spent years in Europe, especially in Paris, much of which has been with teens. She knows the city like a native and continually searches for unique and authentic additions to our trips. She will lead the Paris trips for summer 2009. She and husband, Frank, an astrophysicist and D-Day expert, have traveled extensively with teenagers throughout Europe. |

Mary Anne Hawrylak (pronounced Har-lak), Trip Director, is an Occupational Therapist with extensive experience with teens. A skilled executive, she has led teenage group trips for years. Her skills at team building and bonding are invaluable assets to our trips. Having led trips in France, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Belgium, and the Netherlands, Mary Anne's experience and the special touch for which she is so respected make her a favorite Trip Director year after year. |
 | Vice President and Program Director Ned Clark is a graduate of Union college and has 10 years of camp counselor experience. His strong emphasis on safe fun is key to our trips. When not actually leading a trip, Ned ensures quality control by testing hotels, restaurants, guides and transportation for new trips. He also leads the marketing team. An all region ultimate frisbee player, Ned speaks both Greek and French. Ned will be leading the South Africa, Greece & Italy, Islands of the Mediterranean and Fiji trips this year. |
 | Johnny Perkins, a native of Boston, is in charge of our website and internet marketing. Fluent in Spanish, he has spent nearly 4 years living, volunteering, studying and traveling in Mexico, Central and South America and Spain. Johnny is an accomplished guitarist and loves to lead impromptu music sessions on the trips. A veteran of our Spanish trips, John will be leading the Spain language programs in 2009. |

Nic Emery holds both a BA in International Studies and an MA in Italian Studies from Middlebury College. He has lived and worked in Verona, Italy for the past 3 years. Nic excels at sharing his passion for Italian culture, food, and history with his groups, offering them an inside look at life in Italy. Nic will lead the Southern Italy, Classic Italy, Island of the Mediterranean and Italy Photograph trips. This will be his third year with Travel for Teens. |
 | Fritz Ettl of South Bend, Indiana holds an M. Ed. from Long Island University and a BA in history from Indiana University. A former college soccer player, he has lived, studied and worked all over Europe and Austrialia. He has also taught history and ESL in the bilingual Manhattan Bridges High School in New York City. He is fully bilingual and will be the Trip Director for the Madrid and the South of Spain, Spain & Portugal, London & Scotland and Barcelona & Mallorca trips this year. |

Flight and logistics coordinator Trish Baker has had a lifelong appreciation for travel and has extensive knowledge of Europe. She has spent years traveling to France and studied in Dublin and Northern Ireland. Trish especially enjoys speaking with parents and helping families prepare for trips. While not on a trip or in the office, Trish is a dedicated ceramic artist and animal lover. |

Jon Katz has a BS in Cinema Production from Ithaca College. He currently resides in Los Angeles, where he works as an freelance producer, having worked on several television shows for NBC, CBS, and other networks. In addition, he produces/directs his own content for the web. Jon spent last summer traveling with nearly all of our European tours, shooting and editing our promotional video. He also has a standing invitation out to TFT's President to attend the Oscars as his date if/when he is nominated for an award. |

Our Paris partner since 2003 is Pascal Zytomirski, a native Parisian with an MBA from Babson College in Boston (1992). His knowledge and understanding of Paris, French culture, and his native's access to Hidden Paris bring a unique dimension to the Travel for Teens program, allowing our participants access available ONLY on our trips. Pascal has deep connections to the fashion industry in Paris. |

Office Assistant Allison Vila spent the first 14 years of her life in France before moving to the United States with her family. When not helping out in the office, Allison is a student at West Chester University. |

Karin Maynard, Trip Director, has a deep love for and attachment to Galicia, Spain, her grandfather’s birthplace. She has spent many summers there. In addition, she lived and worked in Santiago de Compostela, where she tutored medical students at the prestigious university. Karin holds a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and is fluent in Spanish. Karin will be a leader on our Madrid & the South of Spain and Spain & Portugal trips this summer. |

Patrick Abatiell, from Charolettesville, Virginia, has lived and worked in Italy, is fluent in Italian and is a doctoral candidate at the University of Virginia. Patrick returns for his second year with Travel for Teens and will be leading the Sicily Community Service, Southern Italy, Classic Italy, and Cinque Terre Community Service trips. |

Dan Logue, an avid traveler, has spent 18 years at summer camps where he has been on Senior Staff, Head of the Waterfront and Head of the CIT program. Dan graduated from Penn State with a Masters of Education in Counseling. He is a School Counselor and Head Soccer Coach at the Preparatory Charter High School in Philadelphia. Dan will be leading our Thailand and Australia & New Zealand trips this summer. |

Kate McGlinchey, a graduate of La Salle University with a Masters Degree in Education from Gratz College, is a veteran TFT counselor. Kate spent five summers as a lifeguard on the New Jersey beaches and is the head swim coach for the Upper Dublin Aquatic Club. An avid scuba diver, Kate will be a leader on the Greece, Greece & Italy, Islands of the Mediterranean and Fiji trips this summer. |

Maro Sevastopoulos, whose family is from Greece, knows Greece from the perspective of a native. She has spent more than a year total living, studying and traveling in Greece. A veteran of the TFT Greece trip, she speaks Greek and will provide insider access on our Greece and Greece & Italy trips. |

Chris Nasser, a native Australian, is returning for his third year with TFT. A graduate of Sydney’s University of New South Wales, majoring in history, political science and media, he is a veteran Travel For Teens counselor. Returning for his fourth summer with Travel for Teens, he will lead our Sweden, Eastern Europe, and Australia & New Zealand trips this year. |

Philippe David holds a degree in languages. Trilingual, Phil holds dual USA/France citizenship and spent a year studying in Spain. Phil has led our Paris and Spain trips since 2004, and has also led our Ireland trip several times. Phil is an accomplished NCLL lacrosse player whose experience with our trips and with teens is highly valued. One of our most popular counselors, Phil is a highly skilled and experienced trip leader. He will lead trips to Paris and Ireland for 2009. |

Veronica Valentin was born in New York City and was raised in Puerto Rico. She is fully bilingual and taught for three years at the Manhattan Bridges High School as a bilingual History teacher. Currently Veronica is a Career and College Awareness Facilitator for the Roads to Success program in New York City. She is also an Afro Caribbean dance instructor. Her infectious laugh and extensive experience with teenagers has made her a fantastic addition to our team. Veronica will return for her second year with Travel for Teens as a Trip Leader on our Spanish Language Programs. |

Cassandra Steinhauser, a former TFT participant is returning for her 5th year as a TFT counselor. Sandra has cumulatively spent months in Paris and Ireland and has spent a semester studying in Aix en Provence, France. She is a French major at Rutgers University. She will be a Senior Counselor on our Paris trips this year. |  |
Jackie Hurwitz, a graduate of Middlebury College, majored in theatre and classics. Currently living and working in Israel, Jackie is known for her ability to lead fun activities and manage group dynamics. Fluent in French and Greek, Jackie is a veteran Senior Counselor, returning for her fifth year with Travel for Teens. |

James Vincent returns for his third summer with Travel for Teens. A history major at the University of Cambridge, James is fluent in French and German. He will lend his expertise and insider access to our Paris and London & Scotland programs. |

Danielle David is a scholar-athlete from Franklin and Marshall College. She is a French and Spanish major who also plays women’s soccer at the prestigious college where she was named MVP and defensive player of the year. Danielle returns for her third year as a Travel for Teens counselor. |

Jack Seymour, from New South Wales, Australia, will return for his second year with Travel for Teens. Having traveled extensively through Greece, Jack is invaluable not only for his knowledge of Greek culture but also for his indispensable Aussie charm. |  |
Alex Burley is Australian and has a Bachelor of Commerce from Sydney University. He has traveled extensively through Asia and Europe and he currently lives and works in London. He is returning for his second summer with Travel for Teens. |

Joni Anderson was born and raised in New Zealand. She has been one of Travel for Teen's most popular counselors for two years now. She studied Professional Photography at CPIT in New Zealand. Out of her many passions Photography and Travel are her top. This will be her third summer as a Travel for Teens counselor. |

Susan Kieliszewksi of Steven's Point, Wisconson has lived and worked in Thailand for nearly two years working, among many other things, to facilitate outdoor education and cultural awareness trips in Northern Thailand with students and staff from schools around the world. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Susan will lend her expertise in Thai culture to our Thailand trip this year. |

Monica Salazar is a graduate of the University of Colorado. Having lived in Paris, Chile and Mexico, she has extensive traveling experience and speaks Spanish. Monica is also a Certified Yoga Instructor, a Healthy Lifestyles Coach, and a Triathlon Trainer/Spinning Instructor! |  |
Graham Renfro is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, with a degree in French Language & Literature. Fluent in French, Graham is an avid traveler and soccer player and has spent time studying abroad in Paris and backpacking around Europe. Steven Williams, originally from Australia, is now living in Austin, Texas and has a degree in Education from the University of South Australia and a degree in Creative Arts from Flinders University. His experience working as a camp counselor together with his Aussie charm make him a great addition to the Travel for Teens team. |  |
Rob Bucher, originally from South Bend, current teaches high school social studies on an Indian reservation in New Mexico, while he is working to complete his Masters in Education. After graduating Indiana University, he spent 2 years in the Peace Corps in Thailand and Morocco. Rob is fluent in Thai, speaks some French and has traveled extensively through Asia. Rob returns this summer for his second year as a Senior Counselor on our Thailand and Australia & New Zealand trips. |

Edwin Hudepol, a native of Amsterdam, is a psychology/hospitality major in Holland. Fluent in Dutch and English, he also speaks a little of 7 other languages. Jon Bolick of Hickory, North Carolina is double majoring in International Business and Marketing with a minor in Chinese at the University of South Carolina. He returns this year as a Junior Counselor, after spending two summers traveling with Travel for Teens. |

Ruby Jenkins is an Art History major, with a minor in Italian Studies at Truman State University in Missouri, a Liberal Arts university ranked among the top ten schools in the midwest. She plans to spend a semester this year in Florence, Italy studying art history, Italian language, and archaeology. Ruby developed her passion for travel as a camper with Travel for Teens 3 years ago and has traveled with us ever since. A veteran of the Travel for Teens experience, Rubys will return this year as a Junior Counselor. |  |
